The FILTHY 15 shirt is an ode to the PARENT’S MUSIC RESOURCE CENTRE formed in the US in 1985, by none other than Al Gore’s wife Tipper Gore and her conservative mates, known as The Washington Wives. They created a list of 15 songs that they deemed objectionable for all the teenagers of the time. This lead to the Parental Advisory: Explicit Content/Lyrics labels to appear on CDs which had the reverse effect, making these albums more desirable to teenagers. Well done Tipper!
